The woman is Ms. Rivas, a licensed and multilingual clinical social worker, who worked within the non-profit field for more than 13 years. She has worked in a diverse range of settings such as working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people who suffer from substance abuse issues, sexual assault survivors, and with partners who have been victimized. Since the beginning of 2019, Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. She is now offering telehealth mental health services. The therapist Ms. Rivas belongs to the Behavioral health Perinatal team that works with pregnancies and postpartum woman. She is trained in adult and trauma-informed EMDR. She offers group and individual therapy and a medication assisted treatment program. The referral for specialized care are also available. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, helping animals in need find forever new homes. Amanda believes in the slogan that is the motto of Best Friends, "Save Them Everyone" She is determined to transform Los Angeles into a city which doesn't harm animals.
